3-Dimensional Laser Scanning is the most accurate and fastest methodology for documenting existing dimensional conditions-interior or exterior. Malissa Heller, RRO (Registered Roof Observer) has recently received a Certificate qualifying her to perform Thermal/Infrared Thermography. Thermal/Infrared Thermography is a non-destructive/non-invasive investigative methodology. In the building trades, it is often used to identify areas of wet or otherwise compromised building insulation, helping to locate areas where energy is being lost from a building. It is also used to identify over heated electrical circuits and electrical connections, helping to locate electrical flaws that could result in overheating and electrical system faults.

After a thorough review of corporate policy and practice, MartinRiley architects-engineers has been certified as a "Green City Business" by the City of Fort Wayne. As only the 29th business in the City of Fort Wayne to have been certified, MartinRiley joins a group of Fort Wayne businesses that publicly acknowledges and incorporates environmentally responsible practices in its business operations. According to the City of Fort Wayne, "The (Green City) program is designed to provide business with the tools and resources that will aid them in moving forward in a more wallet-friendly, Earth-friendly and future-friendly direction." MartinRiley made use of the city provided mentor who offered suggestions for reducing waste and inefficiencies to prevent pollution, reduce solid waste, and conserve energy and water by implementing and improving on corporate policies and practices. MartinRiley serves the regional Midwest market in architectural, engineering and interior design and nationally for building envelope consulting services. Ms. Lisa Young, Associate AIA has recently achieved the certification of LEED Green Associate from the Green Building Certification Institute. Green Associate is the first certification level awarded by USGBC-U.S. Green Building Council. LEED Green Associate denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations. Lisa is a graduate architect and project manager at MartinRiley architects-engineers. She has been with the firm since 2005. MartinRiley serves the regional Midwest market in architectural, engineering and interior design and nationally for building envelope consulting services.
